**Full time position teaching all Sciences - Immediate start**
**Full timetable of teaching all 3 Science to KS3 and GCSE level**
**Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39406 per annum)**
**This position will involve full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking**
We are seeking a Science Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher of Science to join the department for the remainder of the upcoming academic year. The incoming teacher will take on full departmental responsibilities, including planning and marking of all Science lessons, including Physics, Chemistry and Biology up to KS3 and GCSE level. We are open to applications from either experienced Teachers of Science or Science NQTs with full support and additional training given to the correct candidate to ensure they are successful and can complete their NQT year.
This position is located at out client school in Oldham, close to major transport links and a short drive from the Hollinwood junction off the M60 ring road. The school is a large, mixed secondary school with strong links to the local community, which was recently voted one of the most improved schools in the country. Due to recent financial investments, student and staff can benefit from outstanding provisions for learning and state of the art facilities throughout, giving the incoming Science teacher of Science NQT every opportunity to progress and develop their existing skill base.
Duties include:
- Preparing relevant resources for lessons, dependent on their key stage and ability
- Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons, encouraging pupils to reach their full potential
- Evaluating performance of pupils and implementing personal development plans to raise attainment
- Collaborate with the department, pupils and parents to monitor and support progress
- Full marking of classwork and homework
