Are you interested in working alongside a forward-thinking and highly driven Science team? If so we are looking for a Science teacher with great potential, drive and enthusiasm.
We are currently working on behalf of 'Good ' school in the NG8 area of Nottingham. "The school is a highly inclusive environment where everyone is valued as an individual." Stated by Ofsted in their most recent visit in 2017.
Responsibilities:
- Could involve a lead teacher TLR
- Providing the opportunity for achievement for all pupils within school
- Planning and preparing engaging tasks which challenge pupils and ensure high levels of interest during lessons
- Address underachievement
- Report the progress and attainment of all pupils within allocated classes
- Design appropriate homework tasks
- To mark work and give appropriate and constructive feedback
- Manage pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises, and apply appropriate and effective measures in cases of misbehaviour
- Communicate with parents and carers over pupils' progress and participate in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events
- Continuing professional development (CPD)
- Participate in continuous professional development designed to enhance the quality of teaching or other working practices.
