My client, a thriving Catholic school in Featherstone are looking to secure a Science Teacher from the start of the New Year. If this sounds like just the job for you then please read on as you are in short supply and needed in my clients school.

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a Science Teacher for a "Good" secondary school in the Pontefract area WF8 area. This will be a full time, 5 days a week role. You will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4. The school seek to nurture the spiritual development of each individual pupil and teach the importance of moral values and consideration for others.

We are looking for Science Teachers who:

  • Have worked in UK secondary schools previously,
  • Have taught Science on the 1-9 grading system,
  • A UK recognised teaching qualification,
  • NQTs with relevant experience are welcome to apply
  • Can adapt to new situations quickly & have the ability to think on your feet
  • Have an upbeat and positive attitude towards the education of young people
  • Have a DBS certificate registered on the Update Service OR BE WILLING TO DO SO.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
