Teaching Personnel is currently seeking dedicated and passionate Science Teachers to teach in various schools across the Milton Keynes area for students from KS3 & KS4. Whether you are looking for short or long term contracts Teaching Personnel can help you.

The ideal Science Teacher will be someone with an excellent track record of raising achievement in their own classes, someone who:

  • Can model excellence in the classroom and deliver excellent outcomes
  • Is able to evaluate and improve their impact and effectiveness
  • Has a passion for their subject and loves to keep up to date with the latest research
  • Has excellent relationships with students and a belief that everyone can succeed
  • Will be a great team player and work with other key colleagues to support the research, development, innovation and evaluation of teaching & learning across the school

Essential requirements of this role:

  • Be educated to degree level
  • Hold UK QTS or Pending QTS
  • Have the ability to motivate and encourage students
  • Be an effective Classroom Manager
  • Be able to apply knowledge and skills from theory in a practical classroom context
  • Have good organisational ability
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience as a Qualified Teacher is desirable
