Science teacher required in Kingston!

The leadership at an "outstanding" Ofsted rated school based in South West London is looking to hire Science teachers available to start, on a long term basis in January 2019. The roles available are full time, though there are part time roles available for certain applicants.

There are two long term Science roles available at this Kingston based school for January, however, the school are also looking for cover prior to Christmas. Staff who can cover Science, as well as work as general cover, would be considered for a role till the Christmas break. There is an opportunity for the cover teacher to claim one of the long term roles depending on performance.

Details of the role are below:

• Teachers require a Degree and teaching qualifications (QTS or PGCE)
• Require experience teaching at KS3 to KS5 level, ideally Physics or Chemistry
• The role offers a daily wage of £145 to £210 a day
• Would be required to work on a full time basis, from 8:15 to 3:45
• Experience running extra curricular activities is welcome but not necessary
• Several roles available, for two months or long term roles beginning in January

The school's leadership understand the need for a work life balance, as such, staff are given time to relax and spend time away from school. However, they are required to give there all when needed. The staff room has a garden area, allowing staff to have a relaxed lunch or a nice place to work.

Facilities have been recently built, in the last 5 years, meaning all Science equipment is up to date and new state-of-the-art labs ensure practicals engage students. A yearly Science competition helps captivate students and gives staff the opportunity to demonstrate experiments.
