Science Teacher

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a full time Science Teacher in the Trafford area to start in January for one full term up until April. The Trafford based school is willing to extend the contract for the science teacher until the end of the year, subject to a review. The science teacher will be teaching students aged 11-16 and will need to be experienced with the current science curriculum as the secondary school teaches all three aspects of science including Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Newly Qualified teachers in a Science based subject are also encouraged to apply.

The secondary school situated in the Trafford area has an established science department where you can learn and develop your skills from. You will collaborate with the supportive science department and work closely with the Head of science where they will review your appointment at the end of the term in April. For the right candidate there will be the opportunity to extend the contract depending on how passionate you are about teaching science and how effective your planned lessons are with the students. Moreover, support will be provided from the helpful Science staff as you will work from the same Schemes of Work.

The Secondary School has been recently graded GOOD by the recent Ofsted inspection. The school expects you to engage with their students to continue their progression in their academic studies and create an engaging learning environment.
