Science Teacher

Are you a Science Teacher looking for a new position to start in November 2018? Our client school in Stockport currently has a vacancy for a full-time temporary Science teacher to join the department to teach key stage 3 and key stage 4 Science. The successful Science Teacher will join the department in November 2018 and will stay in the department until January 2019. Whilst this is a temporary position in the first instance, there is potential for this position to continue for the successful applicant.

Our client school is located in Stockport just a short drive from the Manchester ring road. The school is a large mixed catholic secondary school with over 750 pupils on roll. Pupil's behaviour and attitudes to learning are good and staff support students to ensure that all pupils are challenged and continue to develop. Due to a need within the department, the school are looking for a Science teacher to join the department after the October half term. The successful Science Teacher will take responsibility of teaching key stage 3 and GCSE level science with planning and marking responsibilites included.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
