This is following the February half term with the successful science teacher being required to teach up to GCSE level for the remainder of the academic year. The school are happy to take someone via Teaching Personnel in the first instance before transitioning them onto a school based contract after a term on supply. This will give the successful science teacher the opportunity to test the school out over a trial period. • Full time Science teacher required: Monday 24^th February for the remainder of the academic year, fulfilling a maternity cover
• Pay will be dependent upon payscale and in line with MPS1 – UPS3: GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 per annum

• Teach up to GCSE level in all sciences: Chemistry, Biology and Physics

This secondary school is located in the Tameside area to the east side of Manchester. It is very well serviced by buses from the city centre as well as having the local metrolink which travels nearby. The school is set in an aesthetically pleasing building with fantastic facilities in a residential area. The local junction to the M60 is a short drive away making the school easy to access for any scientists travelling by car. The school has a large on site car park which is fully secured with an automated gate.

The school have specifically requested a confident and motivated science teacher that is looking for a longer term teaching placement willing to take on additional responsibility including full planning and marking responsibilities.
