This Special Educational Needs School based in Slough are looking for a Science Teacher to with pupils with a range of needs, including Physical Disabilities, Autism and Social Emotional Mental Health needs.

Science Teacher

The school are looking to recruit a Science teacher to start immediately until the end of the academic year with the potential of becoming a permeant member of staff starting in September.

The ideal candidate will have a Biology specialism and be able to teach this subject up to GCSE however the school will consider a good teacher who can teach general science. The class size is small catering for 6-8 pupils with support from numerous experienced teaching assistance.

To be considered for this position you need to

  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Qualified teacher status
  • At least 1 year experience teaching SEN pupils

The school

This SEN school caters for primary, secondary and post 16 pupils with a range of SEN including autism, social emotional mental health needs, speech language and communication needs, physical disabilities and dyslexia. Staffs are highly knowledgeable with SEN and provide excellent facilities for pupils to learn, grow and develop to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.
