Join a high-achieving Science faculty on a permanent basis, in the new academic year.
This is an ideal opportunity for newly qualified teachers/ early career teachers seeking to complete their induction within a supportive secondary school.
Key role highlights;
- Full-time, permanent Science Teacher required from September 2021.
- Specialists within all three disciplines are welcome to apply (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics).
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604).
- Situated in Leeds, Yorkshire, fantastic public transport links readily available.
Key accountabilities will include but may vary;
- Plan, assess, and review effectively all lessons and activities, in line with the Scheme of Work and student progress.
- Promote an inclusive learning practice, utilising a range of strategies to support pupil progress, recognise strengths and overcome challenges.
- Demonstrate diverse skills which will allow flexibility in and outside the classroom through innovative and reflective practice.
Located in Leeds, this well-established school is flourishing with just over 600 pupils on roll (11-16) serving the local catchment area, where pupils achieve well in line with national averages at GCSE. The school has made considerable investments within the facilities, providing access to advanced technologies and resources.
