Science Teacher

Job description

We are currently seeking a full-time Science Teacher to work in a SEMH Provision for 7-16 years old's based in New Milton. This role would be available to start after February half term and would be a minimum of 2 terms, possibly permanent.

The School

The school is a unique educational provision, providing a safe and supportive environment for young people aged between 7 and 16 years old who are finding mainstream education difficult. The schools offers both full and part time education placements through which children are supported to develop self-awareness to help them feel balanced and for them to flourish when they ultimately return to their home school setting. They also work in partnership with the home school to assist in ECHP applications if a more specialist setting is deemed to be more suitable for the student.

The Job

  • Teaching Key stage 3 and 4 Science
  • Teaching core science, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
  • Pay rate from £120 to £140 (experienced) per day.
  • Opportunity to run and oversee department
