Science Teacher

Job description

We at Teaching Personnel are on the lookout for a Head of Science to cover a maternity contract starting in the Summer term. The candidate must be a strong Science specialist to teach across Key Stage 1 and 2. We would welcome applications from both experienced practitioners and NQT's.

We are seeking a driven and dedicated teacher who will engage, enthuse and challenge students to achieve their best. Our ideal candidate will be a creative thinker who will possess the ability to develop innovative teaching strategies in order to inspire our students and help them to foster a love of Science. The ability to teach Physics would be a desirable quality.

The successful candidate will be joining at an exciting time in both outcomes and teaching within Science. This Independent School are ambitious; we know that we have the skills, drive and support to provide an outstanding learning experience for our students.

Teaching Personnel is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Registration is subject to an Enhanced DBS, valid references from recent employers and proof of right to work in the UK (AGY).

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
