Science Teacher
Teaching personnel is searching on behalf on an Ofsted rated “outstanding” high school in the Didsbury/Stockport area for an experienced science teacher starting in February.
The position has opened due to an extended planned absence and will run for the Spring term.
The Science department and leadership team are looking to recruit a Science teacher who can have a positive impact on pupils’ development of all abilities and help close the attainment gap.
The incoming Science teacher will hold a timetable consisting of teaching KS3/KS4 Science teaching Biology, Physics and Chemistry but with an overall focused timetable on any specialism you may have.
A strong classroom presence and the ability to build strong relationships with pupils is an essential attribute the school are on the lookout for. You will have full access to first rate CPD and regular reviews to access and progress within this forward-thinking Science department.
The role is subject to a DBS check, right to work UK authorisation so relevant documentation must be provided.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (GBP25,714 - GBP41,604)
- Opportunity of temp to perm
- February 22nd start date
- Teaching in line with KS3/KS4 national curriculum
- An experienced teacher is preferred but the school will also accept NQT’s with the right attitude
- Strong classroom management and interpersonal skills are essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
