Full-time Science Teacher Required in Luton
Immediate or September start
Temp to perm for the right candidate
A Secondary school (11-18) within a successful trust are seeking a Qualified Science Specialist to join them on a full-time basis for a vacancy within the Science department to start ASAP
As a Secondary Science Teacher, you must be able to teach up to KS4 and support students through their GCSE’s. A Science teacher who can specialise in Biology, Physics or Chemistry and teach to post-16 level would be desired. As a Science teacher, you will be expected to plan and deliver lessons to create an effective learning environment. You must be familiar with the curriculum and have experience teaching to exam boards.

- Qualified Teacher Status
- A teacher who is keen to work as part of a team and share ideas and good practice
- Evidence of outstanding teaching practice and pupil progress within your lessons
- A passion for raising the achievement of all pupils
- Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
- Be effective communicators with staff, parents and pupils
- A deep understanding of pedagogy and its effective application
- Provide and maintain a stimulating classroom environment that promotes pupil’s learning

To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.

In order to register with Teaching Personnel, candidates are required to have Child Workforce DBS registered on the update service.
