Science Teacher - Oldham

Due to an internal promotion at our client school in Oldham, Teaching Personnel are seeking an engaging and inspirational Science teacher to start from Easter 2019. This exciting opportunity is until the end of the academic year in the first instance, with a strong possibility it will continue into the 2019/2020 academic year.

  • Full time Teacher of Science post from Easter 2019
  • Potential for a more advanced role leading into September
  • Teaching Science up to GCSE level
  • Pay in line with MPS and UPS (£23,720-£39,406)

Our Ofsted graded 'Good' mixed comprehensive secondary school based in the Uppermill area of Oldham is located a short walk from the local train station, with a number of bus routes also outside the school. Within an intake of over 1300 students from the local areas of Delph, Dobcross and Greenfield as well as Oldham town centre and Lees, this popular oversubscribed school has an excellent reputation in the local community.

As a Science teacher at our client school, you will be expected to teach all three disciplines of Science up to KS4 level. The school deliver both triple-award and double-award curriculums, and the department are enhanced through collaborative and joint planning. Prospective candidates should hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) within the UK and have relevant qualifications.
