Newly Qualified Teacher wanted in Hillingdon

Location: West Drayton

Role: Newly Qualified Teacher

Duration: October 2022 start until the end of the academic year with the prospect of going permanent

Pay: £150 -£180 a day depending on experience (paid on a weekly basis)

The Role

You will be working with a school based in west Drayton. We are looking for newly qualified teachers who are motivated and wanting to help children with their development and individual needs but would just like to gain more (casual) experience, so I can feel confident in a classroom on my own. You will be expected to work in big groups and on a 1:1 basis working on tasks that have been planned and set for the children for that day. You will also work alongside teaching assistants to track children’s progress through observations.

This candidate will need to be available Monday -Friday from October 2022.

  • Knows the curriculum
  • Observe and record information on pupil performance
  • Supporting individuals in groups to help them learn
  • planning & delivering lessons as well as marking and assessing KS2 pupils
  • Monitoring, recording, and reporting attainment, development, and progress
  • managing behaviour in the classroom
  • preparing students for SATs
  • Hold a QTS or equivalent
  •  genuine interest in education and child development
  •  a committed and professional attitude

Essential requirements/training/qualifications

The Qualifications:

  • Matching A Levels and GCSE grades
  • Enhanced DBS – Child work force only
  • Relevant experience working with children
  • SEN experience – preferred
  • QTS/ or qualifications equivalent

 Locality of the school

School located in West Drayton, with train station not too far from the school and able to get the bus outside of the school.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
