Teaching Personnel have an open vacancy, at one of our highly rated, Ofsted ‘outstanding’ secondary schools seeking a science teacher to start with them asap.

 We are looking for a passionate, committed, and inspiring teacher who is looking for a new, exciting and rewarding role in our welcoming secondary school. The school holds state-of-the art facilities and year on year high success rates.

This post offers outstanding opportunities for enthusiastic and committed teachers to work alongside a dedicated and successful team. You will be given the opportunity for personal development and progression.

Our secondary school is based in Rochdale, close to the train line and there are also main bus routes nearby. If you have car access, there is also free on-site staff parking.

You will be required to teach at KS3 and KS4 and given PPA time during the day; as well as a well-equipped science department with access to all resources. The department holds a dedicated group of staff, who will support you within the role.

Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating an enjoyable yet informative learning environment
  • Monitor student behaviour alongside the schools’ behaviour system
  • Recognise underachieving students and effectively adapt lesson plans

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
