Job description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Studies teacher looking for a new opportunity? Teaching Personnel are seeking a qualified and experienced individual to join an exciting Secondary School in Gorton, Manchester. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and informative lessons on various aspects of religion, spirituality, and ethics.

Throughout this role, you will work full-time.

You will be paid in line with your teacher pay scale point, between £30,000 and £46,535 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that inspire and engage students.
  • Develop curriculum materials that align with the school’s educational objectives.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive learning environment that fosters academic growth and personal development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Religious Studies or a Humanities related field
  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Proven experience teaching Religious Studies at the secondary level.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Confidence with behaviour management.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
