Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with an 'Outstanding' RC Secondary school in Salford, Greater Manchester.
Due to internal promotion, our client RC Secondary school wish to appoint a temporary full time Science teacher to join their Science Faculty ahead of the new academic year.
This Science teaching position will be offered on a temporary basis for one term, with a potential extension following the success of the initial term.
- Full time, temporary Science teacher required. September 2018 start.
- Experience teaching both Key Stage Three and GCSE students is essential for this position.
- Opportunity to gain an introduction to an 'Outstanding' RC Secondary school.
- Pay in line with teaching scale point, £22,917 - £38,633 per annum *Experience dependent.
- Both experienced and newly qualified Science teachers welcome to apply

It is essential that the incoming Science teacher can plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the National Curriculum to an outstanding standard. Full support will be provided by the well equipped faculty, alongside the opportunity for this position to extend into a more fixed post.
Our client Secondary school pride themselves upon ensuring that all pupils are challenged to exceed their expected grades, which is a success across the school. This is demonstrated through their positive Progress 8 Score of +0.4 meaning all students make more than the expected progress during their time at the school.
Located in Salford, Greater Manchester, the large RC Secondary school has over 900 students on roll at present. The school was refurbished through the Salford Schools' Development Programme resulting in larger classrooms and additional laboratory spaces within the Science department.
Access to the school can be reached via the M60 and M602 motorways, along with the East Lancashire Road providing a direct route from central Manchester and Wigan. There are also a number of public transportation links that lead directly to the school from Trafford, Leigh and Bolton.
