Teaching Personnel work with a variety of successful secondary schools in the Luton, Bedfordshire, area who are seeking to appoint Qualified Science Specialists.
We support a variety of Ofsted 'Outstanding' and 'Good' schools within this area and would be keen to hear from anyone with a qualification or background in teaching GCSE Science. The role would be long-term and an opportunity for both school and candidate to discover whether the role is for them during our 20 week Temp to Perm period.
This position is due to start when schools return after closure, or for the new academic year in September. The ideal candidate will be Newly-qualified or a Qualified Teacher with a proven record of raising attainment and providing an effective learning environment for GCSE level students, and desirably A Level students. You will become a part of a network of Academies, a collaborative team of staff, students and parents who continue to work extremely hard to take on every challenge, and work to get the best possible outcomes for all.

As a Science teacher, this is the perfect opportunity for you to captivate students’ attention and incorporate interactive learning for this experimental based subject. As a core subject teacher, you will have to monitor the development of student’s success and be motivated to help students achieve beyond expectations. This valued consistency must be reflected in engaging and effective lessons. In return, the appointed Teacher will feel valued, mentored, challenged and a caring environment in which you can succeed.
To be considered for this role, you will be required to:
- Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
- Be able to provide two references from the last 6 years.
