Science Teacher

Are you a Science Teacher specialising in either Biology/Chemistry/Physics, looking to secure a post ahead of January 2020? If so, an exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Science department at a secondary school in Oldham.

Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with this reputable secondary school to recruit a Teacher of Science specialising in either Biology/Chemistry/Physics, to work in their  successful Science department.

  • Full time Teacher of Science role, January 2020
  • Must hold Subject specialist degree; Biology/Chemistry/Physics.
  • QTS is essential – both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
  • Uphold the school ethos and values.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS GBP24,373 - GBP40,490 (per annum) experience dependant*.

The successful Teacher of Science can expect to join a department enjoyed by pupils across the board. With success rates above average you can expect to join a school pioneering in the success of their pupils at all levels of teaching and learning.

  • Plan, prepare and mark lessons, reporting back to senior leadership to develop methods to develop teaching and learning.
  • Promote the school values and ethos together with a growth mind-set governed on the development of pupils.

The school can easily be accessed via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bolton, Rochdale and Salford. There are also numerous public transport links within close proximity to the school for those who do not drive.
