A large and popular secondary school in Wigan are currently recruiting for a teacher that is able to join them after the Easter holidays.
Due to a planned gap within the schools department, they are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and ambitious teacher of Science to join them on a temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year.
Job summary;
- Full-time Science teaching post.
- Temporary position with employment through till the summer.
- Possible opportunity for further employment in the New Academic year for the right candidate.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS standards and teaching experience of each candidate.
- All specialisms are to be considered for this post.
The school are now on the lookout for a Science teacher, experienced or Newly Qualified to join them on a temporary basis. Employment will be offered for the remainder of the academic year in the first instance however their may be an opportunity to earn a permanent contract in preparation for the new academic year. (Performance and suitability for the role will be assessed throughout the initial temporary placement.)
Applicants will be ambitious and keen to work in line with the schools high standards and expectations. It is important the incoming Science teacher has a confident and engaging teaching style and is committed to the outcomes of the pupils within the school, no matter what their ability.
This secondary school can be found close to the outskirts of Wigan, making it accessible from surrounding areas such as Bolton, Chorley and Preston. It is well respected within the local community and has been commended for the achievement and behaviour of their pupils. The school also achieved a progress 8 score that is way above the national average.
