Science Teacher

This secondary school located on the border of Rochdale and Oldham are seeking a Science teacher for a full time post through till July 2021. Due to an extended leave of absence, the head of department is looking for a versatile and dynamic teacher who holds a range of experience delivering high quality teaching and learning across all ability ranges in KS3 and 4. 

Following the initial 1 term employment, there will potentially be an opportunity to gain a permanent post next academic year, for the right candidate. You will be fully supported by a highly experienced and supportive head of department. You will be joining a large department with 6 other members of teaching staff. The successful applicant will benefit from:

• Pay in line with MPS/UPS Scale-Up to GBP165 per day

The school is located less than 5 minutes from junction 20 of the M62 close to Milnrow.  On site parking is available to all staff and the facilities in school are state of the art, building developments in 2011 have given classrooms a modern look with excellent resources. There are just over 1200 pupils on roll in school, an average number of pupils speak English as an additional language and the number with a statement for special educational needs is above the national average.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
