About the School
This fantastic school, furnished with a multitude of fantastic sports facilities, is searching for a Science teacher, biology, chemistry or physics. This establishment is surrounded by a large, open green and is centred around an ethos of partnership. The staff ensures students achieve their full potential, not just academically, but personally and socially. The children's development is supported by a wireless infrastructure, interactive whiteboards, two libraries and a newly refurbished learning resource centre.
The school have a focus on four key areas to ensure their high standards are maintained; a strong behaviour code, a rich and varied curriculum, high quality teaching and learning, and rigorous tacking systems. The school have high expectations of their students, but with close mentoring and committed staff students have all the tools the need to succeed.
Ofsted have given this school an "outstanding" rating and a strong school leadership ensure all students can progress rapidly.

About the role
Science Teacher (Biology, Chemistry or Physics)
Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)
5 days a week
Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role
Creating exciting and structured lessons in line with the National Curriculum
There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student's work, as well as working closely with students on a 'one to one basis.'
Location
The school is accessible via Southall station (15 minute walk).
Requirements
A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)
Experience teaching Science at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)
A determined attitude with a record of raising attainment.
