  • Must hold QTSQTS alongside subject specific qualification to be considered.
  • Fixed contract with our client Secondary School till the end of the academic year with the potential to progress.

  • Pay in line with MPSMPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Science Teacher due to a restructure amongst senior staff members, which created an influx of demand across the faculty. The school has been recognised for its progression across the school under the guidance of its senior staff team. Noted for the consistent approach to delivering outstanding teaching and learning to pupil's at all individual levels, the school continue o make dramatic progress.

Science Teacher responsibilities include;

  • Expected to lead a full time table delivering inventive Science lessons; planning, preparing and evaluating all class work.
  • Effectively teach the National curriculum within the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
  • Develop schemes of work, resources, teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of all pupils.
  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Located at heart of Salford, this well respected Secondary school has just over 800 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 and is ideally situated to be accessed via the A580 (East Lancashire Road); Bolton, Bury, Trafford. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
