Large Bolton based Secondary school is seeking to appoint a full time Science Teacher from September 2019 or earlier for the successful candidate. The school offers courses within Biology, Chemistry and Physics and as the incoming Science Teacher you will have the opportunity to work with pupils at the start of a journey to help them succeed.

  • Full time Science Teacher required from September 2019 or earlier.
  • Applications are welcome from both experienced and Newly Qualified Science Teachers.
  • Must hold QTS to be considered alongside experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4.
  • Opportunity to work within an Ofsted graded 'Good' Secondary school.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

As the incoming Science Teacher you will be required to work independently and in collaboration as part of a team within the department and greater school, alongside supporting the development of the Science curriculum. This will also involve planning, preparing and teaching to assess and secure excellent outcomes for all pupils in Science. You will also be required to demonstrate a continued commitment to raising attainment amongst all pupils across school equally.

Located in the Farnworth region of Bolton this growing school has seen significant consistent improvement under the guidance of its restructured Senior Leadership. The school has just over 850 pupils enrolled aged 11-16. Bolton is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
