Large Bolton based secondary Academy are seeking to appoint an experienced Science teacher from September 2019 until the end of the new academic year in the first instance. This position has the potential to progress to a permanent contract dependent on initial success.

Due to a restructure within the Senior Leadership Teams, governors are wishing to appoint a skilled Science teacher to join their highly successful faculty on a full time basis.   • Full-time Science teacher required from September 2019.
  • Must hold QTS alongside relevant qualification within Science to be considered.
  • Applications are urged from both experienced and Newly Qualified Science teachers.
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406 per annum.

The Academy boast newly refurbished Science laboratories and classrooms well equipped with contemporary resources including; practical equipment, interactive Smart Boards and IPads. The department consists of three Science teachers and a Head of Science/ Assistant Head. As the incoming Science teacher, you can expect to join a well resourced department with friendly and supportive colleagues who are happy to go the extra mile.

Located in the Farnworth region of Bolton, this growing Academy has seen significant changes under the guidance of its new Senior Leadership. The Academy has just over 550 pupils on roll aged 11-16. Bolton is easily accessible via the M61 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Salford and Wigan. There are also various public transport options available with links across Greater Manchester.
