Are you a qualified Science teacher looking for a long term position in a Secondary school?

Our client secondary school is a large, well regarded secondary situated on the Oldham/Rochdale border. Due to the excellent reputation of the school, this is an exciting opportunity for any Science teachers looking to join a forward thinking and creative department.

Highlights of the position;

  • February 2019 start date, full time position teaching Science
  • Excellent facilities in modern setting, including state of the art laboratories
  • Post to continue until at least July 2019, potentially into 2019/20 academic year

"We're currently looking for a Science teacher to join us after February half term as we have shuffled the department after an unexpected gap has arisen elsewhere in the school. We have no preference for specialist area and would be able to suitably accommodate all levels of experience, including those who are newly qualified teachers of Science"

As the school are looking for a Science teacher on a long term placement, there would be the expectancy that the incoming member of staff will take on responsibility for planning and marking for their groups, along with supporting the overall aim of raising attainment and encouraging pupil progress. In turn for a commitment to the post, the school will offer a bespoke training and development programme, along with a support structure to ensure a successful transition to the post.
