Science teacher

Science teacher vacancy , full time position in an large mixed secondary school.

Teaching Personnel are recruiting on behalf of our partner school north of Manchester city centre, due to unexpected change there is a vacancy for a Science teacher starting in the new academic year. The successful applicant will ideally have experience teaching Physics to KS4, however the school are happy to consider all Science teachers for the post, including newly qualified teachers seeking their first job.

Situated on the border of Oldham and Manchester, this is a large mixed secondary school with well over 1400 pupils on roll. In the most recent Ofsted inspection the school received "good" gradings for behaviour and leadership, with the senior leaders aim to progress and become an outstanding secondary school. The successful Teacher of Science joining will be fully supported by the department, with regular weekly CPD in Science and whole school training once a week. The school traditionally serves a white British catchment area, with average levels of children eligible for free school meals. Facilities are modern throughout, Science labs are well resourced and the department Technicians provide excellent support to teaching staff for practical lessons and around the faulty as a whole.
