About the School
This technically orientated school is looking for strong and experienced teachers to join their staff for the new academic year. The incoming teacher is expected to be committed to their students and help those who may struggle. The successful applicant will be working in a school with relationships with some of the biggest and industry leading employers in the engineering sector. About the role
Science Teacher
Ages 11-16 (KS3-5)
5 days a week
Temporary role with the possibility to take a permanent role
Creating engaging lessons with relevant practicals in line with the National Curriculum
Teachers will be expected to raise attainment and handle difficult behaviour
There will be an expectation to create lesson plans and mark the student's work.
Location
The school is accessible via the local underground (10 minute walk).
Requirements
A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)
Experience teaching Science (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) at secondary school (from KS3-KS4)
Expect a positive and can do attitude
