Job description

The Science Department of an Ofsted graded 'outstanding' Secondary Pupil referral unit in Leighton Buzzard are currently looking for an Science Teacher to start on a full time basis after Easter and work until the end of the academic year with the potential of then being offered a permanent contract.

This is an excellent school and the students demonstrate positive attitudes towards their learning, with Science being one of the most popular subjects.

The school are happy to consider applications from both experienced and newly qualified teachers and Unqualified .

In order to be successful in this role you must meet the following criteria:

  • Experience teaching within a school
  • Strong Science Subject knowledge - will be required to teach all areas up to KS4
  • Able to start a new teaching position after Easter
  • Strong classroom management skills

*To qualify a teacher must work 2 days and a Teaching Assistant must work 5 days through Teaching Personnel.
