This "outstanding" school is seeking eager new Science teachers (Biology, Chemistry or Physics) or Newly Qualified Teachers to join their team.

Science teachers with UK recognised qualification

Details about the role are below:

  • A UK qualified Science teacher (e.g. BSc, QTS, PGCE)
  • Teachers would require experience at KS3-5 level
  • The school is rated "outstanding" by Ofsted and has a strong leadership team
  • A full-time role - 5 days a week, 8:30am - 3:30pm
  • It would be a long-term, temporary placement
  • less than a 15 minute walk from Southall station

The Role

There are many available roles for Science teachers and NQTs in this strong school. They are looking for candidates who will be willing to start work in September with interviews for these roles starting next week. Although the roles do not start till September, this school would like to fill the vacancies ASAP.

The vacancy discussed would be a long term, but temporary role. The successful candidate would be expected to work 8:30am till 3:30pm, 5 days a week as a full-time role.

The school are searching for candidates who make learning interesting for students and engage with the class. The aim is to get the students working hard because they are passionate and keen to do so. Planning and conducting lessons would be expected, along with marking students work and providing feedback for them to build on.

The School

The school has a community atmosphere and there is an ambition to improve students academia and personal attributes, as well as improving the teachers. The school believe there is an importance to balance a work life and social life. As such, teachers are encouraged to ensure they work hard when required so they can have some deserved time off. The school was rated as "outstanding" and have a strong leadership, ensuring the teachers and students are all working in the same direction.

The school is accessible via Southall station (less than a 15 minute walk).
