About the role

Science Teacher (biology, chemistry or physics)

Secondary school working at KS3-5 level

A full-time role - 5 days a week; 8:30-15:30

Temporary role lasting between 2 terms and an academic year

Creating engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum aimed at getting children excited and interested in learning

Teachers will be expected to plan and prepare lessons as well as marking, assessing and providing feedback on the students work

The ideal candidate would be willing to participate in school activities, any experience with extra curricular events would be welcome

About the School

I have a fantastic school in Brent with modern facilities aim at assisting staff with teaching and children with learning. The school needs three Science teachers with extensive experience at KS3-5 level, with one of these positions open to graduates (a large amount of experience is not necessary for this specific role). Alongside the facilities to assist teaching the school also have some great sports facilities.

Ofsted have rated the school as "good" and have talented and cohesive leadership. They were quote saying:

Location

The school is accessible via Kingsbury underground station (15 minute walk).

Requirements

A UK recognised teaching qualification (BA QTS, BSc QTS, CERT ED, PGCE)

Teachers would require experience teaching Science at secondary level (from KS3-KS4)
