This 'Good' rated school by Ofsted is based in Bolton and are looking to recruit a Science teacher to cover an upcoming Maternity gap which has recently emerged. The Head of Science is keen to start the interviewing process to appoint a Science teacher as soon as possible to make the transition for both teacher and school as smooth as possible ahead of September.

• Science Teacher - Specialising in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics
• Teaching Science to students in both KS3 and KS4
• Pay in line with MPS and UPS scale (£22,917 - £38,633)
• Must hold QTS and PGCE specialising in Science

The school are looking for an enthusiastic Science teacher that has experience teaching students ranging in ages 11-16; although it is not essential it would be beneficial if you are able to teach other areas of Science as well as your speciality subject. You will be will be taking on a full time table which will include full marking and planning responsibilities so you must be well organised and able to manage your time efficiently. The school are looking for somebody with a track record of achieving excellent results at GCSE level and be able to teach engaging lessons that can help generate interactivity in class, making lessons more enjoyable for students.
