Science Teacher (Derby)
Teaching Personnel are currently working closely alongside a Secondary School in Derby who are seeking a Science Teacher to join them from 25th February 2019 (or sooner if possible).
The school are based in Derby and cater for students aged 11-18, however the successful candidate will be required on the Secondary site only. Designed as a modern school for the future, the school offers some of the best facilities available to students in the area. The school is also high attaining, with results in all Key Stages being significantly above national averages. At Key Stage 4, in 2018, 46% of students obtained Grade 5 or above in English, Maths and Science.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A dynamic and experienced Science Teacher with the ability to teach KS3/KS4 pupils
- Able to exhibit excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Capable of planning diverse lessons which cater to all learning styles and abilities
- Able to track results and ensure that pupil progress is made
- Work collaboratively alongside the department: encouraging students to be excited about the subject and promoting the values of the school.
