Due to identified students no yet meeting their minimum levels of attainment in Science our client secondary school in County Durham is currently seeking a Science Graduate to work on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to assist with raising attainment.
Full time Science Graduate position, starting in February
Attractive pay rates starting from £350 a week
Work in a supportive Science department with an establish Head of Science
Gain invaluable experience prior to applying for your teacher training. This is a mixed 11-16 comprehensive secondary school with over 1200 students currently on roll, with the majority of students coming from the surrounding areas. The school provides outstanding facilities, large classrooms and offers ongoing support for continued personal development.
The incoming Science Graduate will be responsible for:
Delivering additional learning to help raise attainment of pupils form Year 7 to GCSE
Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 basis
Preparing intervention learning activities to assist with closing the gap
Providing feedback to the classroom teacher on the performance of all students
