Are you a recent Science graduate seeking a step into an exciting and rewarding career earning up to £38,633 a year?
Alongside the Future Teachers Programme and the best schools in Rochdale, we are actively seeking Science graduates for full time roles in the upcoming academic year. This is a perfect opportunity for anybody looking to start a career as a Science teacher, someone wanting to gain more experience before embarking on a PGCE or similar teacher training programme, or simply for somebody who is unsure what they want to do in the future and would like a taste of what it would be like to be a Science teacher in a Secondary schools environment.
Through the Future Teacher programme you will be employed on a full-time basis within the school, with full support from the school department as well as from your personal consultant from Teaching Personnel. This gives you every opportunity to further develop your skills and gain valuable experience that you can later utilize in a career as a Science teacher. You will perform a wide variety of roles, supporting the teaching in class as well as helping raise attainment of pupils through group work and on a 1 to 1 basis, this will also supporting special needs, covering classes, assisting with planning, preparing lessons and developing schemes of work.
Things you can expect to do while embarking on the Future Teachers Programme;
- Supporting the teaching of lessons, either supervised or unsupervised
- Working with pupils on a group basis as well as one to one, assisting in raising attainment and helping them reach the curriculum
- Supporting pupils in any education, behaviour or emotional difficulties they may encounter
- Planning and marking of lessons and catch up plans
- Assisting pupils in their educational development
- Provide feedback to pupils, teachers, parents and working together to raise grades
