Science (Chemistry) Teacher - Cardiff Secondary School

We are currently recruiting for a qualified Chemistry Teacher for a full-time, long-term post due to start after the Easter break until the end of the school year in the first instance. For the right candidate the possibility of a contract may be offered.

This successful Cardiff Secondary School have requested our support in order to fill this position due to the ongoing relationship between Teaching Personnel and the school. It is imperative that we provide a high quality Teacher that is able to Teach Chemistry up to A-Level. A good knowledge of general Sciences may be beneficial in order to support across the department.

The successful Chemistry Teacher -

  • Deliver inspirational lessons
  • Plan and Assess lessons and student knowledge
  • Liaise with department to ensure curriculum is being delivered in the most effective way
  • Maintain student relationships and manage behaviour
  • Staying up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum

This role is provided on a temporary basis in the first instance and could be the next step on your Teaching career. As the school are looking to fill this position asap, Interviews and trials will be scheduled for before the Easter break with the successful candidate starting the position in April.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
