Job description

We are currently recruiting for specialist Teaching Assistants to support with SEN and challenging behaviour. This is a full time role supporting students in the schools behaviour base. Challenges you will face will be varied and you will need to be comfortable and confident in dealing with pupils that need extra support both academically and socially.

You will be working on a 1:1 and small group basis ensuring students are given every opportunity to achieve through structured learning and regular liaison with the schools SEN co-coordinator. To be well equipped for the role Teaching Personnel offer CPD courses throughout the year to enhance your skillset and subject knowledge.

The school are looking for the successful teaching assistant to have an empathetic and caring nature, ability to be patient with a passion for developing young people. Previous experience in a secondary school setting or a relevant health care, teaching assistant qualification would be beneficial.
