Are you an experienced Science Technician looking for an exciting new role in central Manchester?

  • Salary up to £1300+ per month
  • Working hours 8am - 4pm, Term time only
  • Full time role to start immediately until the end of the academic year
  • Opportunity to earn a school contract through an introduction by Teaching Personnel
  • School located in central Manchester and is easily accessible via public transport

Teaching Personnel now have an exciting opportunity for a Science Technician to join our vibrant client school in central Manchester. The successful science technician will have prior experience of fulfilling the role of a science technician within a school environment or have experience of working within a laboratory.

They will be assisting science teachers with their classes providing resources and setting up practical lessons ready for teaching. They will also be responsible of preparing equipment, stock solutions and apparatus to be used by teachers as part of practical lessons. They will also be able to run trials of experiments and testing out new equipment before students use.

To apply for this role you must:

  • Have experience of working with children and in a laboratory setting
  • Be familiar with the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum and science practical
  • Be able to carry out standard laboratory procedures
  • Have an understanding of Safeguarding
