School Admin Support

-        Experience working within an admin role is essential

-        You must be computer literate with a confident and polite telephone manner

-        Experience working within a school office environment is essential

-        Long-term and full-time position


Job Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 4.00pm)

Salary: GBP10.50 - GBP12.50 per hour

Start date: As soon as possible

End date: Tuesday 20th July 2021 (with a view to become permanent)


Teaching Personnel have been approached by a Primary School based in Nelson hoping to source & appoint a hardworking, committed office administrator to work in the busy school office. The successful applicant would need to start as soon as possible and would be until the end of the academic year with a view to becoming permanent. The school have said there is flexibility with the start date depending on the successful applicant’s current situation.

You must have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, be able to work well under pressure and enjoy all aspects of organisational and administrative work. The successful applicant will be skilled in Excel and Word. Duties will include some financial management, and experience in this field would be an advantage.

Here are some of the responsibilities of the role:

- Answering the telephone and greeting visitors

- Raising and payment of invoices

- Production and monitoring of monthly budget reports and advising senior staff of any variances

- Updating website

- Return of all statutory documents

- Accurate record keeping of all children's details via SIMS

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
