Teacher of Resistant Materials

Our client Secondary school in Orrell have an upcoming requirement within the Technology department for a teacher of Resistant Materials teacher on a full time basis.

This position is initially being offered on a full time temporary basis for the remainder of the academic year. There will also be an opportunity to gain a permanent contract with the school leading into the next academic year.

  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£23,720 - £39,406 per annum)

The incoming member of staff will be joining a school that currently caters 950 pupils, making it large when compared to other schools in the area. The majority of these students come from a white British background.

Located on the outskirts of Wigan town centre this school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas of Ashton-in-Makerfield, Golborne and Tyldesley via the M6 motorway. There are also direct transport links from Wigan town centre.
