Residential Support Workers Required in Lymington!

Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for is a school that provides a residential provision for young people aged 7-19 with a diagnosis of Asperger's Syndrome and other associated difficulties on the Autistic Spectrum in Lymington. The school is seeking to recruit residential support workers to help support the children with their learning. In this role the youth worker will be expected to work both in school and around the local community to provide personalised support for the young people.

The ideal support worker for this role will have a background in youth work and will therefore have the knowledge and ability to manage challenging behaviour in a way which still produces positive outcomes. Having a relevant qualification such as a youth and community work degree will also enhance your application.

Work type will include working term time only, on a day to day basis with flexible hours. There is the opportunity for permanent employment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
