Rate: £130 - £215 per day.

Teaching Personnel who have a SLA (Service Level Agreement) with the Southwark Diocese are seeking a RE Teacher for a 'Good' rated Catholic school based in the Croydon borough.

The Head Teacher and Senior Leadership Team are seeking a passionate Teacher of RE on a full time basis from September 2019. Due to a member of staff within the Humanities department relocating this rare opportunity has now risen within a welcoming Catholic Secondary school located within 10 minutes of East Croydon.

This Ofsted graded 'Good' Catholic Secondary school will welcome applications from experienced teachers and those in the early stages of their career, as relevant support will be provided. For further information, please see the details below;

The incoming Teacher of Religious studies will be an enthusiastic and committed teacher of the subject, with the ambition and motivation to work within a highly successful faculty. The humanities department consists of Geography, History and RE across Key Stages 3 & 4.

The successful Teacher of RE will involve but may not be limited to;

• Plan, prepare and mark classwork, reporting back to Senior Leadership within the faculty and taking appropriate action for assessment and evaluation where applicable.
• Deliver RE lessons ranging to meet the needs of pupils at a range of learning abilities and ages.
• Manage behaviour in accordance to behaviour management policies, aimed at the engagement of pupils across the board.
• Uphold school ethos and values.

The school has 800 pupils on roll aged 11-16 and can easily be accessed via East Croydon station and also several buses. There are also numerous public transport links within close proximity to the school for those who do not drive, and also there are car parking facilities available.
