Religious Education Teacher Vacancy

  • Catholic College, North Liverpool
  • Fixed term placement (Jan-Jul 2018)
  • Pay negotiable depending on experience (M1, £22,467-UPS3, £38,250)

A smaller than average Catholic College in Bootle, Liverpool is seeking to appoint a dedicated, enthusiastic, reliable and passionate RE (Religious Education) Teacher for an upcoming maternity in their Humanities department.

The School:

A Roman Catholic Secondary School based in Bootle with specialist Business & Enterprise status. It is a smaller than the average-sized secondary school where the proportion of students supported by school action is slightly below that found nationally and the proportion supported by school action plus or with a statement of special educational needs is slightly above that usually found. The school is a 10 minute drive from the M58 and there is parking on site for staff. There is also a bus stop and a nearby train station with transport links to Wirral and Liverpool for those on public transport.

The role:

- 2 term fixed placement (Jan-Jul 2018)

- Full-time, Mon-Fri (allocated PPA/Planning time)

- KS3/4 RE (new AQA RE Spec.)

- Will consider NQTs
