Religious Education teacher

  • Full time supply post for a Religious Education teacher
  • MPS to match experience, up to £150 per day

High achieving secondary school in south Manchester have a long term supply post for a Religious Education teacher starting December 2016. This position will be covering absence on a full time basis, there is a Religious Education teacher currently on maternity who is expected to return in time for Easter, this position has an open end date at present.

“We are looking for a suitably qualified, hard working Teacher of Religious Education in a pivotal part of the academic year. This will be full time and requires commitment and hard work from the incoming teacher, the RE teacher joining our school will be fully supported by the department and leaders, behaviour is on the whole good and we have excellent weekly CPD”, Head teacher.

*Located south of the city centre, bordering Trafford

*Supply post covering absence, full time 5 days per week

*Pay to match experience (MPS) – up to £160 per day

*Excellent behaviour in this modern mixed secondary

This is a modern secondary school, roughly average in size serving a mixed community where over 30% of pupils are eligible for the PP funding. The Religious Education teacher taking up this supply post will be fully supported by the school and department, you will need to be committed to marking and planning your own lessons as well as working closely to the current work schemes within the faculty. The school is on the border of South Manchester and Trafford and can be reached via many routes including Princess Road, Chorlton and Stretford.
