Teaching Personnel are currently looking to recruit a Religious Education teacher that is experienced in teaching Religious Education up to GCSE level but can then also cover other areas within the Humanities department if called upon.

With a key member of staff set to leave on Maternity leave our client school are looking to recruit a Religious Education teacher on a 12 month temporary basis initially however there will be the view to earn a permanent place after this first period.

• You can expect to be paid between £22,917 - £38,633 depending on your pay scale
• 12 month maternity cover with a view to be taken on beyond this period
• Must hold QTS - Delivering Religious Education across the full age and ability range
• Teaching students aged 11-16 up to GCSE level
• Beneficial if you are able to cover other areas within the Humanities department

Our client secondary school are looking to appoint the successful Religious Education teacher ahead of the next academic year in September, and ideally before the 15^th of August because they are hosting induction days prior to this for new staff starting in September.

As a Religious Education teacher at our client secondary school, you will be responsible for delivering RE lessons to students of mixed ability levels. The school are looking to appoint a teacher that can teach engaging lessons that will raise the subject profile and bolster results throughout the school. You will be teaching a complete timetable which will include sole responsibility of planning and marking, there may also be times where you will be asked to cover other areas in the Humanities department; History and Geography.
