Teaching Personnel London are recruiting now ahead of the new academic year in September! Due to a successful year within our primary sector, we are seeking to hire Recruitment Consultants to our established and constantly expanding team in London. Successful applicants will be based in our state of the art, refurbished office which is within easy walking distance of London Bridge station, Borough Market and The Shard.

We welcome applications from graduates, education and sales professionals who are keen to forge a successful career as a Recruitment Consultant within the Education sector. In addition to working within a dedicated team environment, you will benefit from the tutelage of a supportive manager whose career began as a trainee with Teaching Personnel. The life of a Recruitment Consultant in Education involves a variety of responsibilities and each day offers something different. You will make planned sales calls, target primary schools in your geographical branch patch (to be discussed at interview), offering our unrivalled service and quality candidates for temporary and permanent positions. Also as a Recruitment Consultant, you will be responsible to build and develop your own candidate database (teachers and support staff) in order to successfully service your client primary schools. Previous sales experience or knowledge of the education sector is desirable however not essential, to be successful as a Recruitment Consultant in Education, you need to be a strong communicator and extremely organised. Working in Education Recruitment requires you to take a detailed job specification accurately, advertise on behalf of your client, recruit suitable candidates and arrange interviews for a smooth and successful placement.

The key to being successful as a recruitment consultant relies heavily upon; your commitment, dedication and honesty to both clients and candidates, with the overall aim to build long lasting successful relationships for continued business.

Teaching Personnel review performance weekly and formally every 3 months, you will qualify for promotions 4 times per year (quarterly). We have a specific career path for Recruitment Consultants to progress and become Branch Managers, our business is organic and almost all management started their career at Teaching Personnel as a trainee recruitment consultant.
