Overview of the Role

I am currently working alongside the Headteacher of a Roman Catholic Primary School in Preston PR2. The school are looking for an experienced KS1 Practitioner to teach a mixed Reception/Y1 Class from January 2018. The role will be full time covering a planned absence that will go on until Summer 2018 at least.

The Head his looking for a practitioner who is experienced in differentiating for varying ages and needs in the class, preferably somebody who has taught a mixed class previously! The Head is not looking for a practicing Catholic, however it is important the successful applicant understands the importance in maintaining the Catholic Ethos in school.

As with all supply work, there is always the possibility of there being a permanent position for you providing you get on well in school. The Head is part of a local cluster of Headteachers who work closely together and she has assured me she DOES recommend teachers to other schools in the surrounding area.

We are also able to offer a number of CPD Opportunities to Teachers that register with us and we are interested in constantly up-skilling Teachers that are registered with us. CPD courses include; Team Teach, Autism Awareness, PREVENT DUTY and Safeguarding and Child Protection Level 1 and 2.
