Teaching Personnel are working closely with a Roman Catholic Primary School in the Wythenshawe, M23 area. The school are looking for an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant to begin working on a full time basis after the Christmas break in January in their Reception class. The role will be for the remainder of the academic year with the potential to extend into the next academic year also.
The Roman Catholic Primary School in Wythenshawe is a 1 form entry Primary school graded "good" by Ofsted for a number of years now with their most recent inspection coming earlier this year. The school has been complimented on the outstanding behaviour from students across all year groups and has hit results targets for SATs consecutively for a number of years. The current head teacher has been in charge of the school now for a number of years and has kept the school working at consistently high level whilst frequently trying to push the students academically.
The Reception class that the candidate will be working in currently has 31 pupils with currently no known SEN but some suspected. There will also be another 2 TA's in the class to work alongside in helping support the class teacher. the candidate will ideally have previous experience within a Reception class and be completely confident with Phonics as the role will require teaching small groups of around 4-6 pupils with phonics.
